Create an Invoice
Creating invoices in Elona CRM is straightforward. Your company details and branding are automatically included.
Steps
1. Go to Invoicing
Click Invoicing or Invoices in the left menu.
2. Click Create Invoice
Click the Create Invoice or + New button.
3. Select Customer
Choose the customer from the dropdown. Their details will auto-fill.
tip
If the customer doesn't exist, you can add them directly from this screen.
4. Set Invoice Details
- Invoice number - Auto-generated (you can edit if needed)
- Invoice date - Defaults to today
- Due date - When payment is expected
- Payment terms - Net 30, Due on Receipt, etc.
5. Add Line Items
For each product or service:

| Quantity | Number of units |
| Unit Price | Price per unit |
| Tax | Applicable tax rate |
| Amount | Auto-calculated |
Click Add Line to add more items.
6. Add Optional Details
- Discount - Percentage or fixed amount
- Notes - Payment instructions, thank you message
- Terms - Your standard terms and conditions
- Attachments - Supporting documents
7. Preview
Click Preview to see how the invoice will look to your customer.
8. Save or Send
- Save as Draft - Continue editing later
- Save - Save without sending
- Send - Email directly to customer
After Creating
Once created, you can:
- Edit (if not yet sent)
- Duplicate (to create similar invoices)
- Download as PDF
- Record payments
- Send reminders
