Running a Sales Report

1. Go to Reports

Click Reports in the left menu.

2. Select Sales Report

Choose the specific report you want.

3. Set Filters

  • Date range - Period to analyze
  • Customer - Specific customer or all
  • Status - Paid, unpaid, all

4. Generate

Click Generate or Run Report.

5. View Results

See the data in tables and charts.

Taking Action

Based on your reports:

High-performing products → Promote more Underperforming items → Review pricing or discontinue Top customers → Nurture relationships Overdue invoices → Follow up immediately

Exporting

  1. Generate the report
  2. Click Export
  3. Choose format (PDF, CSV, Excel)
  4. Download

Tips

  • Review sales reports weekly or monthly
  • Compare to same period last year
  • Watch for seasonal patterns
  • Set revenue goals and track against them
